- Yes. 8 out of 10 dogs I work with are aggressive breeds.
2. What kind of training do you offer?
- I offer puppy classes as well as behavior modification, which include jumping, biting, barking, potty training, agression, etc.
3. What is the best time to start puppy training?
- The best time to start puppy training is around 10 weeks of age. The ealier you start the quicker your puppy will learn. We do not recommend starting at 8 weeks because at that age your puppy has just come home to you and it generally takes two weeks for a dog to adjust to a new home. We want thyem 100% comfortable with you!
4. How many training classes willI need?
- This depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your dog and how severe the problem is. Puppy classes however are generally an 8 week course.
5. What dog training methods do you use?
- I use positive reinforcement training methods. I do also include correction training methods for those who know what they need to do. I do NOT condone abuse to any animal or physical pain!
6. Are you certified to train dogs?
- Yes, I have recieved my Canine Behaviorlist Degree from Penn Foster, as well as other minor certificates. I have also had training working with Palm Beach Sheriff's Office and with many foster dogs from a training facility I was once employed at, with guidence to teach me hands on.
7. Have you worked with dogs that have the same issues as mine?
- I have worked with dogs with many different issues. However, each dog has their own issues and personalities, making each individual unique and different from the rest.
8. Can I speak with a former client?
- Yes, feel free to ask to speak to a previous client or two that had me help with an issue like your own. I also have a testimonials tab located to the left of the page.
9. How long will it take before I start seeing results?
- This depends on each dog and the owners. If you work with your dog every single day between lessons you will achieve the results much sooner then a person who only does once or twice a week. If you do not work with your dog at all between sessions you will not accomplish anything.
10. Will I be able to continue training once they are finished with your program?
- Yes of course! I strongly recommend that you continue to train and keep your dog menatlly stimiluated, this will keep everything fresh in their brains and ensure you have the best possible dog!
